High School Music

High School Music

Our virtual creative music program offers high school musicians performance and teaching opportunities for developing their skills as dynamic performers, educators, entrepreneurial musicians, and compassionate citizens.

 

Students meet three times per week in one-hour sessions, participating in small-group lessons in instrumental technique, music composition, technology & improvisation, and leadership training.

  • Develop advanced instrument technique & musical skills

  • Increase social awareness & connections with peers

  • Enhance active-listening skills through study of music from diverse styles & genres 

  • Strengthen musical creativity through instrumental improvisation

  • Learn how create melodies & compose original music

  • Explore foundational skills in music production & recording

  • Participate in virtual orchestra & chamber music projects

 

In addition, each child will receive a weekly 30-minute private lesson on their instrument (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, piano, or digital music composition) from one of our professionally-trained Teaching Artists.

  • 36 Weeks of programming, beginning September 14th

  • 3 weekly small-group classes* (virtual thru December 2020)

  • 1 weekly private lesson for 30 minutes

  • Includes instrument rental for school year

  • $40 per week ($1440 for the entire school year)

  • $40 registration fee

*Schedule will be determined based on child's school schedule
