Our Villa-Lobos Orchestra was invited to record for the radio program The Playground at Emerson Radio on Friday, March 29th. A musical sandbox for kids to discover musical diversity, The Playground WERS88.9 plays the best local, national and international kids artists, mixes nursery rhymes and classics like, “Who Put The Bomp,” Disney music, theme songs, and Grammy-award winning and up-and-coming children’s artists together for a full morning of listening fun for the whole family.
Students took to the air performing pieces from Schubert's "March Militaire", and Richard Meyer's "Dragon Hunter". Thank you Emerson Radio for the amazing experience our students had for playing in a studio and on air for the very first time!
