About The Event

Join us for a morning of music featuring musical performances of works by Soon Hee Newbold, contemporary composer and internationally recognized educator and conductor, and a student presentation on the women’s suffrage movement.

This is part of a series of community performances funded through the Women Suffrage Centennial grant from the Baraba Lee Family Foundation. Their mission is to advance women’s equality and representation in American politics and in the field of contemporary art. To learn more about their work, visit https://www.barbaraleefoundation.org/.

About our JQOP Coffee Hour Concert Series

JQOP hosts our final Coffee Hour Concert Series of the year for all students, families, and community supporters to gather together over. Coffee Hours invite families and friends of JQOP to enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation while the students engage in team building games. In the second half of the hour, all in attendance enjoy performances featuring various student ensembles and special performances from visiting musicians and JQOP Teaching Artists.
