Musicians from our Sibelius Orchestra will take part in Tufts Chinese New Year Celebration on Friday, February 15. This annual tradition brings together the entire school community for a celebration of music, dance, and art. This year we celebrate the year of the pig! This event is open to the Boston Community!
Our Sibelius Orchestra is a second-year string orchestra that works to refine ensemble skills, building on the skills of playing in unison and in round that they learned in our Rimsky orchestra. They will be performing "Frere Jacque" and an arrangement of "The Great Gate of Kiev" from Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
