Through a new Digital Music Composition (D.M.C.) residency with Boston Public Schools (BPS), a group of 8th graders at the Josiah Quincy Upper School in Boston's Chinatown worked alongside Boston Music Project teaching artists to compose original music aimed at capturing the creative spirit, diversity, and youth perspectives during remote learning.
After the release of the "Caged Bird" album, youth dancers at Urbanity Dance choreographed an original dance inspired by the third track on the album, "Grave of Dreams." Check out their performance, featured on the Urbanity Dance Gala in April 2021.
