BMP @ BPL Copley Children’s Library

Updated: Nov 13, 2020

The Vivaldi Chamber Orchestra from the Boston Music project provided an afternoon of music and an instrument petting zoo at the Boston Public Library’s Children’s Library in Copley Square on November 14th. Students performed selections from standard classical repertoire and introduced the various instruments of a chamber orchestra.

After the performance, the BMP musicians took time teaching the young audience members how to play a string instrument in our instrument petting zoo. The event was part of a series for youth hosted by the Boston Public Library entitled “Art Explorers,” inviting young people from the Boston community to explore various art disciplines in a drop-in after school program every Wednesday afternoon.
