Students in our BMP Digital Music programs develop their skills in all areas of music production and composition, with an emphasis on providing children with a creative outlet for self-expression. Throughout this semester, Grade 1 students at the Oliver Perry School in South Boston have been learning about theme & variations. Using Chrome Music Lab, students learned about various elements of writing theme & variations, including melody, harmony, bass lines, and rhythms as they worked toward producing their own original variations on a them. As a final step, students created original album art for their theme & variations project.
