On December 19th, over 250 youth took to the stage to share their musical gifts with family and friends. Eight orchestras, including our Beethoven Ensemble for students with special needs, were led by a team of 26 talented Teaching Artists. The morning performance featured a first-ever collaboration with our Beethoven Ensemble and students from our 5th-grade leadership cohort with a performance of "Carol of the Bells". The evening performance featured our Mozart Paper Orchestra debut performance, a collaboration with our Vivaldi Ensemble and Josiah Quincy high school wind players, a student composition premier by our middle school program, and the debut of our newest orchestra, the Newbold Orchestra!
Families also took part in a raffle with proceeds supporting our BMP Student Scholarship Fund and many entered our Super Seaport Raffle that will be drawn on January 7th!
Between now and December 31st, for every $40 donation you make to BMP you will automatically be entered to win our Super Seaport Raffle Basket, valued at over $500.
