"Music is important to me because it is a huge part of my identity. I want to have the opportunity to meet new people, learn new genres of music, and overall bring my creativity to the next level." - Ilan, 7th grade BMP Musician
This year, spring marks the beginning of our 10th Anniversary Celebration. We ask you to make a donation today to help us close out our 10th year on a HIGH NOTE!
Because of YOU, over the past ten years, we have grown from serving 50 youth at one school to now serving 650+ youth at 10 schools. Throughout our trajectory, we have continued to respond to two simple questions:
1. How can we create transformative music education and performance opportunities for young people who would otherwise not have access to the arts?
2. What are the needs of the students we aim to serve?
When we think of students who exemplify this creative spirit and resilience, Ilan and his teacher, Mr. Hernandez, come to mind. Listen to Ilan and Mr. Hernandez recount their inspiring performance at First Night 2022 and hear about Ilan’s growth from cello to guitar.
Each of you have played a crucial role in our growth over the past 10 years, we ask you to consider giving this spring to continue supporting students like Ilan.
Thank you for your support,
