Music Enrichment @ Ellis Memorial

This Spring, Teaching Artists from BMP are providing a series of general music classes for Ellis Memorial students, teaching songs, developing gross-motor skills with the use of hand percussion instruments, and nurturing their developing social skills needed to perform as one ensemble. The culmination of this work will include a performance for the Ellis community, as well as an invitation to perform at the March 12th Spring concert. Ellis Memorial's mission of strengthening Boston's inner city working families with high-quality education and care for children, youth, and vulnerable adults resonates deeply with BMP. We are excited to begin this new venture and expand our community of youth musicians.
