On May 1st, 2021 at 5pm, owner/chef at Mei Mei Boston and three-time James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef semi-finalist, Irene Li will lead a virtual dumpling-making class perfect for the whole family. Throughout the virtual evening, you will be treated to performances by professional teaching artists and select students from BMP.
This hands-on class covers everything you need to make dumplings at home including hand-folding techniques and how to achieve that perfect pan-sear. We’ll share all the tips and tricks you need to host your very own dumpling party!
OUR VIRTUAL CLASS INCLUDES:

Live, instructor-led demonstrations with Chef Irene Li that cover how to roll wrappers, and five different ways to fold dumplings.
A cooking demo so you can enjoy your dumplings almost instantly!
Please note that you will need to have your filling ingredients prepped and dumpling wrappers ready before class starts or you can purchase and pick up a dumpling making kit from Mei Mei Boston.
General admission is $40 with proceeds supporting Boston Music Project's Student Scholarship Fund, ensuring all children can have access to high-quality music education and social-emotional learning.
