Naseem Alatrash, BMP’s cello teaching artist recently performed at the Panama Jazz Festival. Alatrash was part of the premiere of acclaimed pianist Danilo Perez’s new project, The Global Messengers Project. The following picture was taken at the red carpet at the opening Gala that hosted important Panamanian personnel, followed by a performance at Danilo Perez’s Global Messengers Project. Alatrash also performed at the open stage’s closing concert in front of an audience of 25,000 people.
On January 4th, Alatrash also released a music video, featuring his original piece "Lifta," dedicated to the Palestinian village Lifta. The video was filmed in Lifta, with cello performance by Alatrash.
