About the event
Musicians from our Boulanger Orchestra will take to the stage for the Josiah Quincy Elementary School’s Chinese New Year Celebration on Wednesday, February 13. This annual tradition brings together the entire school community for a celebration of music, dance, and art. This year we celebrate the year of the pig! This event is open to JQOP/JQES families.
Our Boulanger Orchestra is our newest JQOP orchestra which provides musical training to 1st-year string players in grades 2nd through 5th grade. They will be performing traditional Chinese folk songs and an arrangement of the classic “Baby Shark.”
