Capturing Perspectives and Emotions of MA Youth through Music

On July 12th, BMP kicked off a new music composition project with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's 21st Century Community Learning Centers Programs across the state. Over the next five weeks, students from seven youth centers across the state of Massachusetts will work in collaboration with BMP teaching artists to compose and produce a collection of original works aimed at capturing the perspectives and emotions of Massachusetts youth after a year and a half of pandemic life and learning.

Whitman Hanson Regional High School - Hanson, MA
Methuen High School - Methuen, MA
Wetherbee Middle School - Lawrence, MA
W.E.B DuBois Middle School - Great Barrington, MA
Haverhill High School, Haverhill, MA
Randolph Community Middle School - Randolph, MA
Walsh Middle School, Framingham, MA
